Guts Syndicate 'Laisse Faire'
Guts Syndicate was a French nu metal and metalcore band formed in Troyes, France, in 1998. Active during the early 2000s, they emerged from the French underground scene at a time when nu metal was gaining popularity across Europe.
Their music blended heavy guitar riffs, hardcore hip-hop, metalcore and electronic elements, giving them an aggressive crossover sound typical of the era. Despite remaining relatively obscure, Guts Syndicate became part of the lesser-known French nu metal movement of the early 2000s.
In 2002, the band released their full-length album Laisse Faire through the independent French label Point G Records. Released on CD as PG01105294, the album was recorded and mixed at Impuls Studios and mastered by Jean-Pierre Chalbos at La Source Mastering. It was produced by Guts Syndicate and Point G.
With its combination of metal, hardcore hip-hop and electronic influences, Laisse Faire remains a rare document of the French underground nu metal scene of the early 2000s. Guts Syndicate were active during this period, but little information is available about the band's activities after the release of the album.
