Gun Dog 'Chair'
Gun Dog was a Japanese nu metal band formed in 2000, consisting of K (vocals), ATSUSHI (bass), MZK (guitar), Chihei (second guitar), and YUSUKE (drums). After releasing their debut album Humanity in 2003, the band issued the single “Chair” on April 7, 2004.
The single “Chair” marked an important moment in Gun Dog’s short career and is considered one of their most representative works. Featuring heavy, groove-driven guitars and emotional, aggressive vocals by K, the song captured the band’s nu metal sound and lyrical intensity. Shortly after the release of Chair, Gun Dog disbanded, making the single one of their final official releases.
Despite the band’s brief existence, “Chair” remains a notable track within early 2000s Japanese nu metal and serves as a precursor to K’s later work as the vocalist of Pay Money to My Pain.
